My little cousin Amanda is getting married this June, I don’t have a sister but we were the only girls in the family on our mom’s side, and were pretty close growing up.  We had to stick together against all those boys.

Amanda’s shower was yesterday, and I made some cookies, especially for her.  Hope you enjoyed your special day Amanda, looking forward to being a part of your wedding.

I got the idea for the cookies below after reading a post on the wonderful Sweetopia.  I am in love with the final look of these and will probably be making them a lot more from now on, perhaps even today, off to see if I have enough butter in the fridge!
